Pressure Points

An important aspect of my coaching work is in helping clients recognise and deal with anxiety and the negative consequences of stressful, fast-forward lives. Here’s why.

In my mid-30s and with a successful career I became seriously ill and my work and relationships suffered badly as a result. Eventually I discovered that the symptoms were my body’s physical response to the stressful life I was leading. A series of damaging past events, lack of care for my own physical and emotional well being, a toxic working environment and a fear of being seen as unable to cope with the pressures of work, had all combined to undermine my natural resilience and make me unwell.

Once I had understood this and had taken steps to regain control and rebalance my life, I was symptom-free within 12 months and I took up my career again with renewed energy. In fact, the difference it made was so profound that I trained as a teacher of the method that had worked so well and I have used it to help others ever since.

If it is appropriate, I provide this as a part of my coaching.

“Richard's approach has helped me find my own way through the issues I needed to explore, as well as discovering others during the process.”
